Energy Transition: Towards the Establishment of an Observatory!
The forum of non-state actors in Senegal on just and sustainable transitions was organized this Thursday.
Energie, in partnership with Ford Foundation, organized this Thursday the Forum of non-state actors in Senegal on just and sustainable transitions. This multi-actor dialogue framework intends to strengthen the communication dynamic around the issues, expectations and potential contributions in the implementation of systemic transitions and particularly the JETP of Senegal.
´´The said forum is part of an initiative which aims to facilitate the establishment of an observatory on systemic transitions to better collectively monitor and guide the choices of transformations and actions proposed at the national and territorial level, but also to 'monitoring the inclusive implementation of investment programs', it was explained in a press release.
In a context where climate and energy issues are paramount, this forum represents, according to the note, an opportunity to deepen discussions on the observatory of just and sustainable transitions. The latter constitutes an opportunity to define a roadmap for the socialization, identification and monitoring of actions around transitions, for the benefit of non-state actors.
